Viladecans Beach

Share:

The beach of Viladecans, 2.4 kilometres long, extends from the mouth of the Remolar up to the mouth of the Murtra lagoon. The coastal forest of pine trees, planted at the start of the century to fix the dunes, separates the beach from the rest of the land.

The beaches of La Pineda, La Murtra, and Cal Francés are somewhat different, but they allow you to enjoy this natural area. The first two have parking and lockers, and the last is surrounded by pine forests.

Remolar Beach is a pristine beach that allows you to enjoy nature through responsible use. Much of the beach is occupied by dune vegetation and temporary water pools.

  • Platja de la Murtra, on the border with the municipality of Gavà, separated by the Riera de la Murtra that gives it its name, and up to the breakwater, the 220 meters of the most familiar beach in Viladecans extend. Fine golden sand and a dune landscape next to a pine forest that lets us dream on a pristine beach, but with all the comforts of its services. Beach accessible for people with reduced mobility.
  • Platja de la Pineda, a large part of this beach is a space protected by the Natura 2000 Network. It is a good example of a naturally regenerated dune landscape. It is the most equipped beach with the most services in Viladecans. It's perfect for a family day out!
  • Cal Francès pine forest beach, next to La Pineda, we arrive at this sandy beach where tranquility is guaranteed. It is part of the Natural Area of the Llobregat Delta, so it is necessary to respect the environment.
